Welcome to Emanuel Lutheran Church. I am currently serving as the vicar. That may not be a familiar term. It really just means that I am in a program to become an ordained pastor. I began teaching and serving as principal here in 2013. In 2022, I stepped away from my role as principal to take on more duties at church.
My wife Terri and I have been married since 1989. In 2012 we were blessed with our son, Isaac. I graduated from Concordia, Seward in 1990. I have taught in Hawaii, Illinois, and in Minnesota since 1999. Most of my teaching has been in Lutheran schools. Sharing the Gospel and helping students learn what it means to live their faith was a very important part of my calling as a teacher. I am looking forward to many similar experiences with the members of any age here at Emanuel.

Welcome to our webpage! I'm Jodi Wilson and I've been teaching at Emanuel since 1988. I started in our 3rd and 4th grade classroom, but have spent most of my years here team teaching with Marilyn Vollbrecht in our K-2 multiage Primary Room. We have a unique learning environment that strives to meet each individual student at his or her current academic level. We grow together in our knowledge and wonder of God's awesome creation. Kathy plays the organ for all worship services, directs our two adult choirs as well as the handbell choir.
Kathy also is the church administrative assistant - preparing bulletins and newsletters, as well as managing many aspects of the church office.
Welcome to Emanuel Lutheran Preschool!! My name is Kari Crown and I have been teaching at Emanuel since 2009, but have been in the Early Childhood field since 1991. I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach our littlest ones about the wonder of God's creation, and about the friendship they can have with Jesus. We spend part of each day doing bible stories, but have plenty of time for language, math, science, music and art centers. Please stop by and join us as we learn and play together!!
Emanuel offers two preschool options for your child. Our 3-4 year old class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays while our 4-5 year old class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Both classes are from 7:45-11:00 a.m.
