| Currently all classrooms have access to the Internet using DSL. Keyboarding skills are introduced in Grades 3 and 4 while personalized keyboard tutorials are required in Grades 5 through 8. An online reading enrichment program encourages students to improve their reading skills. A MacBook mobile lab is used by the the upper grade classes. Smart Boards are installed in each classroom along with student repsonse systems. Teachers use the Internet for various projects and PowerPoint presentations have been created by students in the Social Studies area. Microsoft Word is available for students to create word processing documents. |
